Road trip

Here are some photos of us cranking it down in the south island, representing the H-town massive. Ye-yeo! After a long drive to paynes we hit the rock straight away, climbing between the wet spells.slept 13 hours that night! stayed there for two days, tryed heaps of stuff but no sends to mention, got real close to responsible lunges, pumped out though.(rivers real cold too!)left paynes at 5pm and arrived at the hill at midnight!no wasting of a day for us!
lung dyno to start with, all sending with rad form.then to get spanked on the unrepeatable! pheonix next, wikkid problem which was a good send for me, will and sam are real close. jumped on spent V6, way too hot, so came back in the evening and cranked through the ballsy mantle!

spittle today, did heaps of cool classic things(including 'classic slab' V5), and all of us sent thrust V6, (awsum power prob),

and i tryed the gift V9, which will go by the end of the week hopefully.(also joker, but 1st moves real long).then back to unrepeatable to get spat off yet again!

so back in chch with no skin recovering for the week ahead.
sam, "this cows pretty sweet i guess"(in napoleon dynamite's voice)
slapping the lung!

mad sloper action on thrust

The classic V7, the pheonix!

the hard, slopey, mantle top out of three star V6, spent.

The gift V9 at spittle, crux start off two underclings, launching to a two finger stack, then crimp, then slopey top!!wikkid!

the long as 1st move on the joker (dyno for me to a real sharp semi jug!)

ahh, the unrepeatable, the face tells the story...

H-Town represents on the ard Grit

Word up team from the "Grim North of England". I'm up here checking in on my old skool H-Town buddy Dave "Filth" Parr and today we hit the Grit.

We took on The Roaches here in the Peak District and got a couple of hours of good times grit bouldering in before the snow storm came through and we retreated in good english style to the pub.......

Did a few V2's and V3's and tried a V4 and V6 before the snow came. We were up on the upper Tier boulders. Pretty wet and manky landings and the rock was pretty slimey and damp in places but hey, it's what the brits call good climbing and the grit is pretty cool to climb on.

It was the usual english mad day. People walking everywhere, dogs, dudes doing crap looking leads in the snow and english sandbagging. However I ruled and showed them all how to do it.... well kinda. I felt strong and the little climbing we did do before the snow set in I felt pretty good. Getting most things we tried 1st or 2nd go. Wanted more time to work a few more problems but when the snow comes down it gets kinda hard to stick the sloppers.....

Next stop - Spain and then France (FONT!!!! - Totally amped after watching Marty's copy of the real thing)

Stay strong team!
